I had an amazing lunch experience at this charming family-owned seafood restaurant! The grilled fish was cooked to perfection, and the Greek pita bread was warm and delicious. The octopus salad was a delightful surprise, bursting with flavor, and the Nireas special salad was a refreshing accompaniment. The fried calamari was crispy and tender, and the fresh fries were the perfect side. Not only was the food exceptional, but the atmosphere also added to the overall enjoyment of the meal. The cozy and welcoming ambiance made me feel right at home. The attentive service from the staff further enhanced the experience, making me feel like a valued guest.I highly recommend this seafood restaurant to anyone seeking a delectable seafood feast in a warm and inviting setting. It's a true gem that combines fantastic cuisine with a delightful atmosphere and outstanding service.

We had 4 nights in the Old Town at the beginning of April and I was full of plans to head to the southern new town to eat in "locals" restaurants. We happened to be staying on the same square as Nireus and ate there on our first night as we were tired from travelling - we went back on nights 2, 3 and 4! Everything we ate was excellent - fried calamari, grilled kalamari, tuna Japanese style (still recovering from the wasabi!), prawns scampi, fava just to name a few dishes. Very reasonably priced considering the quality and service, good house rose wine and a beautiful setting. The service was excellent, friendly but professional - highly recommended.

One of our favourite restaurants in Rhodes town. Seafood is fresh and relatively good value. The manager was very customer focused and remembered us when we came back! Try the deep fried small prawns... They were amazing. There's a lot of demand here, make a reservation or turn up early.

What a splendid treat for a day visit in Rodos!I found this restaurant by chance on Google Maps and dragged my partner along to try it.The food was superbly done with loads of authenticity and care. Very fresh and flavourful. My cocktail was also delicious.Last but not least, our waitress was sincere and personable.I therefore highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Rodos.

What a gem of a place. We had lunch here and all four of us were blown away. The seafood was super fresh, the outdoor dining under the covered greenery w white table cloths was a dream and service was amazing. The dishes were recommended & were absolutely delicious. She was honest to let us know which fish was farmed or from the ocean & we were impressed with her multitasking skills, all done with a friendly and courteous smile. We ordered :sea bass by the kilo(for 4 of us around 45 euros) it was lightly seasoned and served w extra olive oil and lemons on the sideuni - fresh and sweet. Served w a liquidy base which kinda threw me off. not sure what it wasSeafood pasta- pasta was a bit too firm but surprisingly addictive. The mussels were incredibly delish! No off putting smell in the mussels just fresh & clean.Octopus- yum! They dry it before grilling, i guess that makes a difference.Crabcakes- not plumped up with breading but rather filled with actual crab meat!Greek salad - refreshingWe’re going back to have our last meal before departing, its so good.Update: we brought our 6 family members back the next day to hv our last meal in Rhodes in Nireas. We met the owner who is the most charming gentleman. Nireas is a popular place and the employees work hard so expect longer wait times for your meal if they’re busy. It didn’t bother us as we enjoyed the beautiful outdoors in this ancient city.

Our experience at Nireas was absolutely incredible. From the moment we walked in, we felt like part of a family. The ambiance is stunning, and the staff are mild, extremely professional, and welcoming. We indulged in a variety of seafood, each dish surpassing the last in taste and quality. The owner’s energy is infectious, and his positive attitude made our dining experience unforgettable. He took the time to listen to us and ensure everything was perfect. The staff worked seamlessly together, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. To top it all off, the homemade desserts crafted by the owner’s wife were absolutely astonishing. If you’re looking for a place where excellent food and exceptional service come together, Nireas is a must-visit. We highly recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy a meal in a beautiful setting with a team that makes you feel at home.See you next time!

Walking through Old Town we have seen this restaurant and we decided to have a dinner there. The atmosphere is very soft and beautiful. The owner is very kind as well as all the personal of the restaurant. The food was amazing (Kalamari and Shrimp Saganaki exceptionally). We will definitely suggest it. Maybe is better to reserve a table (my feeling) . Price also is very competitive. For sure one of the best we have eaten into the old town.
